Paneer Tikka Kathi Roll (Street-Style Wrap)

ਪਨੀਰ ਟਿੱਕਾ ਰੋਲ

Paneer Tikka Roll is a modern North Indian street favorite combining smoky tikka-paneer, crunchy onions, mint chutney, and tangy sauces wrapped in flaky roomali/paratha. Highly shareable and portable, it is among the most ordered Indian street-style wraps and trends heavily in food reels.

Method

  1. Marinate paneer in hung curd, ginger-garlic, lemon, chilli, turmeric, garam masala, kasuri methi, and mustard oil for at least 20 minutes.

    About 12 min

Tip: Add 1 tsp besan to marinade for better adhesion and char.

  2. Skewer and roast paneer (grill/tawa/air-fryer) until smoky edges appear. Quickly toss onions and capsicum with salt, lemon, and chaat masala.

    About 12 min

Tip: High heat and brief cooking preserve paneer softness while creating tikka char.

  3. Warm wraps, spread chutney and sauce, layer paneer tikka and veggies, roll tightly in butter paper, and serve hot.

    About 16 min

Tip: Wrap in paper immediately after rolling to hold shape and steam lightly for softer bite.
